My Wife and Her Tools

I was replacing the wall in our bedroom last Sunday because the wood was already old and the foundation within wasn’t that strong so I had to put a couple of more lumbers in there for support, when I was given a surprise by my wife and gave me some nailers, staplers and all sorts of pneumatic tools that she said she bought a couple of days ago in the internet. At first, I was a little skeptical since I haven’t used one of those tools yet and I was a bit upset because it might be expensive, but when I started using them, all the negative feelings disappeared because it really made my life easier and I was able to finish fixing the wall faster because of those bad boys. I was really amazed how easy it is to use them and I was thinking that whatever price it had, since my wife still doesn’t tell me how much is it, it was all worth every single penny. The only this that I am sorry right now is the fact that I was not the one who bought the tools and didn’t even think of buying them. They turned out to be the best things in my toolbox now.

Rug Replacement

My wife and I were talking about using some area rugs for our apartment replacing the carpet that we have since they are much easier to clean than carpet. I think it would be feasible because as far as I remember, our flooring tiles are actually nice, and the moment we remove the carpet, all we need to do is polish the floor and throw in some rugs in there. Although, even though it sounds easy, I think I’ll be having some problems buying rugs because I don’t know where to find cheap area rugs and the market near our apartment doesn’t sell economically. My friend gave me a web site where I could buy some contemporary area rugs and he said he was able to buy some cheap ones in there, but I haven’t really checked out what they really have yet. I only browsed through it because I also have some stuff to do I’ll do it maybe later right after my errands. My wife is also asking some of her friends where we could find some cheap ones. If only I could sell the carpet that we have right now I would. But I don’t think anyone would want to buy a five year old carpet with red wine stains.
